Equipment

  • Large Skillet: For cooking the chicken and sauce.
  • Tongs: To handle the chicken.
  • Large Pot: For boiling the pasta.
  • Wooden Spoon: To stir the sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large chicken breasts seasoned with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz pasta penne or fettuccine
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • Fresh basil chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Chicken: Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook in a skillet until golden and cooked through; set aside.
  • Cook Pasta: Boil pasta until al dente, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
  • Make Sauce: Sauté garlic and sun-dried tomatoes, add heavy cream and Parmesan, then simmer.
  • Combine: Add sliced chicken and cooked pasta to sauce, toss to coat.
  • Serve: Garnish with fresh basil and extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

Customize with red pepper flakes for extra heat, or add spinach for more greens!
