Chicken and Stuffing Casserole

This Chicken and Stuffing Casserole is the ultimate comfort food—perfectly seasoned chicken paired with fluffy stuffing, all baked together in a creamy, savory sauce.

Equipment

  • 9x13-inch baking dish
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Skillet (if sautéing chicken)
  • Wooden spoon or spatula
  • Can opener

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 1 box stuffing mix or homemade stuffing
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • Salt pepper, and garlic powder to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter for sautéing, if needed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook and shred or dice the chicken.
  • Prepare the stuffing according to the package directions.
  • In a large bowl, combine the chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and half of the stuffing. Stir until well mixed.
  • Transfer to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Top with the remaining stuffing and cheese.
  • Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, until golden and bubbly.

Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
