Cheesy Broccoli Casserole is the ultimate comfort food, combining tender broccoli, a rich and creamy cheese sauce, and a crispy breadcrumb topping.

Equipment

  • 9x13-inch baking dish
  • Medium saucepan
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Cutting board and knife
  • Small bowl (for breadcrumbs)

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups broccoli florets steamed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can 10.5 ounces cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Steam broccoli until tender and drain well.
  • In a saucepan, heat cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and cheddar cheese. Whisk until smooth, seasoning with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Combine broccoli, cheese sauce, and beaten eggs in a large bowl. Transfer to the baking dish.
  • Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the casserole.

Notes

Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
