Caramel Pecan Cinnamon Rolls are a truly indulgent treat, featuring soft, fluffy rolls filled with cinnamon sugar and topped with a rich caramel sauce and crunchy pecans.

Ingredients
  

  • Dough:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg
  • Caramel Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • Filling:
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Prepare dough by mixing warm milk, butter, flour, sugar, yeast, salt, and egg; knead until smooth. Let rise for 1-2 hours.
  • Prepare caramel sauce by melting butter and brown sugar, adding cream, and simmering. Pour into greased dish and sprinkle with pecans.
  • For filling, mix butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Roll out dough, spread filling, roll into log, and slice. Arrange rolls in dish on caramel and pecans.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F, let rolls rise 30 minutes, then bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Cool, invert onto platter, and serve warm.

Notes

Feel free to add a cream cheese glaze or more pecans on top if desired. Enjoy!
