Caramel Pecan Cinnamon Rolls

Caramel Pecan Cinnamon Rolls are a truly indulgent treat, featuring soft, fluffy rolls filled with cinnamon sugar and topped with a rich caramel sauce and crunchy pecans.

Ingredients
  

  • Dough:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg
  • Caramel Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • Filling:
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Prepare dough by mixing warm milk, butter, flour, sugar, yeast, salt, and egg; knead until smooth. Let rise for 1-2 hours.
  2. Prepare caramel sauce by melting butter and brown sugar, adding cream, and simmering. Pour into greased dish and sprinkle with pecans.
  3. For filling, mix butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Roll out dough, spread filling, roll into log, and slice. Arrange rolls in dish on caramel and pecans.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F, let rolls rise 30 minutes, then bake for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Cool, invert onto platter, and serve warm.

Notes

Feel free to add a cream cheese glaze or more pecans on top if desired. Enjoy!
