Air Fryer Quesadilla

If you're craving a quick, crispy, and cheesy snack, an Air Fryer Quesadilla is the perfect solution! This recipe takes traditional quesadillas to the next level, using the air fryer to achieve a golden, crispy crust and melty, gooey cheese without all the oil. It’s a great option for a fast lunch, dinner, or an appetizer, and you can easily customize it with your favorite fillings.

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Knife (for slicing)
  • Cutting board
  • Spoon (for spreading fillings)
  • Tongs (for flipping)
  • Small bowl (optional for mixing seasonings)

Ingredients

  • 2 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix
  • Optional fillings: cooked chicken ground beef, beans, or sautéed vegetables
  • Butter or olive oil for brushing
  • Seasoning optional: garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder

Instructions

  • Prepare the Quesadilla
  • Lay one tortilla flat. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the tortilla. Add any additional fillings like chicken or veggies, if desired. Place the second tortilla on top.
  • Brush with Butter or Oil
  • Lightly brush both sides of the quesadilla with butter or olive oil to help it crisp up during air frying.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Air Fry the Quesadilla
  • Place the quesadilla in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Notes

Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before slicing into wedges. Serve with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.
